Alle Auktionen / Zeitgenössische Kunst / Javi Villarroel Seoane - Awaken
Awaken explores the moment when matter seems to release itself from its static condition to become movement. Through fluid forms and gestures suspended in space, the work evokes a journey of transformation: from the awakening of latent energy to its full expansion. Javi Villarroel has a singular interpretation of abstract art and develops a limited series of this type of works on certain occasions of the year, offering the collector a sculpture with very limited acquisition. Technical data: Material: Steel Finish: Red and black paint Dimensions: 43x12x12 Shipping: Any country (check duties outside the EU) Rigid double-wall cardboard box, reinforcements and marked as fragile. Certificate of authenticity * As a complement, this plinth or others for the sculpture can be purchased. There are several models, all of exclusive design by the sculptor (see profile) * More than steel, more than art: Javi Villarroel Seoane develops his work through different sculptural avenues and the design of sculptural furniture, finding in surreal figurative sculpture the deepest expression of his creative identity. From this vision he builds a universe of his own in which technical precision and artistic sensibility converge to transform steel into highly expressive, balanced, and sophisticated pieces. His bond with metal has been forged over more than twenty years, (covering from the design of mechanical manufacturing to underwater welding, among many others), allowing him to push metal to complex physical limits. This artistic language has quickly positioned him as one of the Spanish sculptors with the greatest international projection. His work is part of private collections in twenty countries across Europe, the United Kingdom, and Asia. He has shared auctions with major art world figures such as Pablo Picasso and Joan Miró, and his work has been featured in specialized publications such as Ars Magazine and international art platforms like The Edge of Humanity Magazine. Likewise, his inclusion in the collective reference book "Euskal Eskultura Gaur II" confirmed his status as one of the renovators of the vanguard of Basque contemporary sculpture. His exhibition career includes numerous shows nationally, among which the select collective exhibition "20 eskultore" stands out, held at the institutional headquarters of the Juntas Generales de Bizkaia (Bilbao, Bizkaia) and the exhibition "Apoteosis del Ser Humano", sponsored by the BK ETL Global fiscal group, held at the Grand Hyatt La Manga Club luxury hotel, Cartagena (Murcia). Her work has been recognized with an entrepreneurship award granted by the City of Bilbao in the hands of mayor Juan Mari Aburtu. His technical prowess is unquestionable; his language, unmistakable.
