Javi Villarroel Seoane - Revealing the Void

Revealing the Void is a deep exploration of vulnerability and metamorphosis. The work is built on a calculated visual paradox: a stylized human silhouette, with flawless, pure, polished outer lines, is intersected along its central axis by an interior, rough and stark fissure. It is at that moment that metal acts as a psychological process. The visceral crack that divides the figure does not represent destruction or defeat, but the indispensable act of change. To evolve, the individual must fracture their own shell. As it threads through matter, the sculpture elevates the emptiness to the category of sculptural material, demonstrating that it is precisely in that absence, in that open wound, where the true essence and the honesty of the soul reside. Technical data: Material: Steel Finish: Polished Dimensions: 55x15x12 cm Shipping: Any country (consult duties outside the EU) Rigid double-wall cardboard box, reinforced and marked as fragile Certificate of authenticity More than steel, more than art: Javi Villarroel Seoane develops his work across different sculptural avenues and the design of sculptural furniture, finding in surreal figurative sculpture the deepest expression of his creative identity. From this vision he builds a universe of his own in which technical precision and artistic sensitivity converge to transform steel into pieces of great expressiveness, balance, and sophistication. His bond with metal has been forged over more than twenty years, ranging from mechanical fabrication design to underwater welding, among many others, enabling him to push metal to physically complex limits. This artistic language has quickly positioned him as one of the Spanish sculptors with the greatest international projection. His work is part of private collections in twenty European countries, the United Kingdom, and Asia. He has shared auctions with major figures in art history such as Pablo Picasso and Joan Miró, and his work has been featured in specialized publications such as Ars Magazine and international art platforms like The Edge of Humanity Magazine. Furthermore, his inclusion in the collective reference book "Euskal Eskultura Gaur II" confirmed his status as one of the renewers of the vanguard of contemporary Basque sculpture. His exhibition itinerary includes numerous national shows, including the selective collective exhibition "20 eskultore" held at the institutional headquarters of the Basque Parliament (Juntas Generales de Bizkaia, Bilbao) and the exhibition "Apoteosis del Ser Humano", sponsored by the BK ETL Global fiscal group, held at the Grand Hyatt La Manga Club hotel in Cartagena (Murcia). His work has been recognized with an entrepreneurship award granted by the Bilbao City Council, presented by mayor Juan Mari Aburtu. His technical prowess is unquestionable; his language, unmistakable.
