Beautiful old original history school map (linen) by Isings with the title "Krijgsraad voor de vierdaagse zeeslag 1666" A wonderful scene with VOC ships. Publisher: Vuurbaak Groningen This school map is still beautifully colored, and still in good condition with some minor signs of wear at the bottom of the upper rod. For a good impression see the photos . The Four-Day Sea Battle was a naval battle during the Second Anglo-Dutch War. The engagement lasted from June 11 to June 14, 1666, and was fought along the Flemish and English coasts. The battle is one of the longest naval battles in history and the only victory that the Dutch fleet would achieve in a real naval battle during that war. The print is well packed and shipped.
