Jean Le Gall (1969) - 100% Hand Painted-Cosmo Pop

A margin of 5 to 6 centimeters (Photo 2) will allow you to frame your canvas. Jean Le Gall (1969) Born in Quimper in 1969, Jean Le Gall is a French artist trained at the Penninghen School in Paris. After his studies, he quickly turns to interior design and develops an eclectical activity at the crossroads of the visual arts and performance. He regularly collaborates with theater, cinema, television and the music world, for whom he designs and creates numerous painted decors. Endowed with a remarkable facility for reproducing contemporary works, Jean Le Gall has a high level of technical mastery that enables him to respond to very varied projects. He can thus recreate with great precision compositions, motifs and visual universes intended to fit into sets, stages or unique spaces. His work is nourished by the influence of artists such as Sol LeWitt, Peter Halley and Simone Decker, as well as by his deep interest in geometric abstraction. At the end of the 1980s, a conference followed by a meeting with Victor Vasarely also marks a turning point in his career. He then discovers optical art and becomes passionate about perceptual tricks, depth effects, chromatic vibrations and visual illusions. Today, Jean Le Gall revisits old canvases, long seen only through the lens of decoration. He gives them a new existence and a renewed reading, transforming these works into spaces for pictorial research. Through his work, he seeks to reveal what was already present in these canvases while imparting a more personal, contemporary and artistic dimension to them. This approach represents a true renaissance for him: that of works that, after having accompanied sets and stories, are now independent pieces. Pop Dream Gallery is an active structure that operates as a dealer, exhibition curator, and gallerist. We primarily focus on the secondary market to present our artists, but we also work with private collectors to grow their collections. We sell some of their works to acquire new pieces more in line with evolving times. You can follow us on Instagram, popdreamgallery. Each of our works is signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Pop Dream Gallery. Shipped rolled in a tubular box.
