Boxwood chess set La Régence Paris knights with glass eyes, King 83 mm King size: 83 mm; pawns: 45 mm Delivered without a chessboard; only present for the photos Material: boxwood, stained in black varnish Dating from: 1950s/1960s Origin: France; complete with all 32 pieces Feature: nice condition. Felt pads under all the pieces. Oak wood box: 22 x 14 x 8 cm Feature: the knights have glass eyes; one has lost an eye. Note that the rooks have no feet. Please study all the photographs carefully as they constitute an important part of the description. My sets are vintage, old or antique, used, with normal wear related to their history. Some have lasted over 100/150 years: that is what gives them their charm and authenticity. Note: for buyers on the islands, shipping will be adjusted if needed! And also for USA customers.
