Vintage sculpture of a ballet dancer in glazed ceramic by Jihokera, Czechoslovakia 1960. Brussels style, a modernist design movement characterized by flowing, organic lines. The sculpture depicts a seated ballet dancer who tightens or adjusts her pointe shoes. On the bottom of the figurine is the model number 165 and the Jihokera sticker. Produced in 1966 by the company Jihokera in Czechoslovakia. The color is cream-white. The sculpture has beautiful details in the dress and the expression of the young dancer.
