Morgan established the mark of 600 career stolen bases on September 26, 1979 just one year after collecting his 200th career home run. He was the first such player to do so and amazingly remains to date one of only two players to ever reach that mark (Rickey Henderson). Offered is the presentational base from Morgan's collection commemorating that dual milestone achievement with hand painted titling on a period base. The base itself display apparent game use with thick coat of additional white paint applied over the surface and titling in black paint. Majority of the original Hollywood Bases "Sportsway" manufacturer's label remains affixed underneath the base with original metal post intact.
