Johan van der Linde jr. Johan van der Linde jr. was a talented painter and copyist. As a great admirer of Rembrandt, he did not only duplicate The Sampling Officials of the Amsterdam Drapers’ Guild, but also The Night Watch. Copies from his hand became highly sought after during his lifetime; of this subject no less than three versions are known.
