Biography : JonOne (Franco-American, born in 1963 in New York), famous for graffiti-influenced works, was born in the Harlem neighborhood, where the art of colorful and elaborate graffiti evolves. He began creating, with a childhood friend, graffiti of his name from the age of 17. In 1984, he founded the Graffiti 156 All Starz collective, to bring together the passion of graffiti artists. After moving to Paris in 1987, he began working as a painter on canvas in a studio. He quickly made a name for himself in Parisian artistic circles thanks to his canvas works, and in 1990 he was exhibited at Gallery 45 in Berlin and participated in the Graffiti Paris exhibition, where his work is shown permanently.
