Jordi Juan Pujol - Donald Duck “Tribute to Hellboy”...

• Hand Signed by the Artist (Front and Back) • Unique Original Artwork • Handwritten “Tribute to Mike Mignola” on the Back • Certificate of Authenticity Included • Ready to Frame Donald Duck has always had a fiery temper. Perhaps becoming Hellboy was only a matter of time! In this brilliant comic book crossover, Jordi Juan Pujol transforms Disney's famously short-tempered duck into Mike Mignola's legendary supernatural hero. With filed-down horns, glowing yellow eyes and Hellboy's unmistakable trench coat, Donald looks surprisingly comfortable in his new role. The result is a portrait that feels both humorous and wonderfully dark, bringing together two very different worlds of comics. Painted by hand in watercolour and ink, the artwork combines intense crimson reds, dramatic black outlines and loose sepia washes. The expressive brushwork gives the character real presence while preserving the spontaneity of an original illustration. ▸ Original Watercolour and Ink on Paper – 42 x 30 cm (unframed) An interesting detail for collectors: the reverse is personally signed, dated 2026 and inscribed “Tribute to Mike Mignola” by the artist, making the inspiration behind the work part of the piece itself. Jordi Juan Pujol is a Spanish illustrator known for his imaginative interpretations of popular characters, combining traditional painting techniques with influences from comics, cinema and contemporary culture. Coming directly from the artist's studio, this unique original includes its Certificate of Authenticity. A characterful piece for fans of Disney, Hellboy and original comic art.
