Batch of 3 exquisite antique collector boxes / vanity jewelry boxes from the late 19th to early 20th century (circa 1890–1915), of French/European manufacture: Rectangular secreter jewelry chest: Made of noble wood with brass edging and front plaque finely worked in relief with a gallant scene of ladies of the era. Retains its original lock and functional key. Interior lined with velvet. Circular box with classic medallion: Brass with ornamental engraving and central relief medallion representing a classical allegorical bust surrounded by ears of wheat. Interior with original velvet lining. Circular box with miniature portrait: Brass with perimeter engraving and central celluloid medallion possibly showing a female profile in a classical/Belle Époque style. Condition: Good overall condition in keeping with its age and use. Natural patina on the metals without polishing (to be preserved to the collector’s taste), slight wear on interior velvets and visible craquelure on the surface of the miniature medallion.
