Abstract painting on canvas by Austrian artist Jürgen Angeler. Painted with highly pigmented acrylic paint. Strong, robust, and warp-resistant gallery-quality canvas (210 g/m²). The painting has a total size of 215 x 150 cm and the necessary space on each edge to stretch it on a 200 x 140 cm stretcher frame. Suitable depth of the stretcher frame: 2 – 5 cm. Biography: Jürgen Angeler studied Communication and Media Design, which laid the foundation for his artistic path. He began painting in 2014 and participated in his first exhibitions. In 2015 followed his first solo show. Since then he has continually developed his technique. Several exhibitions and workshops have followed to date. Jürgen Angeler pays particular attention to Informal Painting, a form of modern art that emerged in the 1940s/1950s. The blend of spontaneity (impulse) and chance (drip painting, squeegee techniques) plays a decisive role. At the end of the creative process is a finished painting that expresses the tension built up during its creation. Jürgen Angeler reflects on successful exhibitions in Germany, Italy, and Austria.
