A publication dedicated to Horst Egon Kalinowski, featuring a text by Gilles Lipovetsky in French and English. It presents his explorations of leather, wood, and assembled materials, conceived as the true “skin” of the artwork. Numerous color and black-and-white reproductions, as well as a photograph of the artist in his studio in Karlsruhe in 1985. This publication is an excerpt from the journal *Cimaise*, No. 202, September–October 1989, produced in conjunction with the artist’s exhibition at the Galerie Albert Loeb in Paris. A good copy, with slight signs of wear and soiling on the cover.
