Bertini. It is one of the famous pseudonyms used by the prominent Austrian painter Karl Kaufmann (1843–1905) for his refined architectural and landscape views of Venice and Europe. Dimensions: Canvas / artwork only: approx. 17.5 cm x 30 cm. With frame: 32 cm x 45 cm. Frame: Elegant antique gilded frames with a light-lacquered wooden passe-partout included. Condition: Good general state of conservation, with natural age craquelure on the painting surface that attests to authenticity and period (late '800 / early '900).
