KIRAS - BANG! POP!

“BANG” is a visual explosion that encapsulates the energy of contemporary pop culture. The composition seems to vibrate on the wall: the large plexiglass glossy backdrop, with its dynamic and sharp silhouette, amplifies the presence of the work and transforms its perception into something scenographic and three-dimensional. At the center, the word BANG emerges as an iconic onomatopoeia taken directly from the world of American comics, reinterpreted through fluorescent colors, illustrated details and artisanal craftsmanship that make every letter unique, alive and pulsating. The sculpture measures about 78x49x6 cm and is born from an entirely manual process. Every phase of the realization — from cutting the plexiglass to the multi-level construction, from processing the bioplastic with 3D technique to the finishes — is personally overseen by the artist. Each element is assembled, refined and worked by hand to create depth, movement and plays of light that change depending on the viewing point. The three-dimensional letters, thickened and decorated, dialogue with the bright yellow background, creating a strong visual contrast. Rockets, explosions, pop symbols, references to urban culture and graphic details transform the work into an ironic, energetic and contemporary visual narrative. The glossy plexiglass reflects natural and artificial light, while the colored and fluorescent surfaces amplify the dynamic effect of the composition. The work belongs to an extremely limited edition of only ten pieces, a choice that reflects the artist’s desire to maintain total control over the creative process and to guarantee the collector a rare and distinctive piece. “BANG” lives magnificently on a modern wall, where it can become the focal point of the environment: in a minimalist space it adds character and energy, while in more creative or commercial settings it dialogues perfectly with contemporary furnishings, lounge bars, professional studios or interiors with a pop-design taste. “BANG” is not merely a decorative piece: it is a visual manifesto of impact and vitality. The famous comic explosion is transformed into a piece of contemporary design, capable of conveying movement, irony and personality through an immediate and universal language. The sculpture expresses its presence to the fullest on light-colored walls or modern environments illuminated by side warm light, which enhances its volumes, thicknesses and reflections. The 6.5 cm depth creates an almost suspended effect that enhances the architectural character of the piece, turning it into a stage-set element capable of redefining the space. Choosing “BANG” means choosing a work that unites contemporary art, design and pop culture in a three-dimensional composition with a strong aesthetic impact. It is a symbol of creative energy, expressive freedom and color. A piece designed for those who love surrounding themselves with works that do not go unnoticed.
