Knoll - Eero Saarinen - Chair (2) - Tulip Chair - Fibreglass

Splendid set of two original "Tulip" chairs (Model 151, armless version) designed by Eero Saarinen in 1955 and produced by Knoll International. All chairs are equipped with the original swivel mechanism and retain the authentic metal Knoll manufacturer label under the shell. The removable cushions are upholstered in black fabric. Technical details: Designer: Eero Saarinen; Manufacturer: Knoll International; Model: 151 Tulip Chair Swivel; Color of frame: glossy white; color of cushions: Black; Materials: Aluminum alloy base with protective coating, fiberglass shell molded. Conditions: Structurally perfect and intact. The swivel mechanism rotates correctly. They show normal and slight signs of vintage wear consistent with age (small surface scratches on the base paint as highlighted in photos). Cushion fabric in excellent condition.
