Alle Auktionen / Möbel, Design und Spiegel / Kooij - Dirk van der Kooij - Rocking chair - Not Only Hollow Chair - PVC
ot Only Hollow Chair (2014) by Dirk van der Kooij This iconic piece is part of a strictly limited edition of just 25, originally developed and sold by Chamber Gallery (now Chamber Projects) in New York City. Only two brand-new chairs remain, available directly from the designer at €18,000 each (see website). A rare opportunity for collectors, the chair represents not only an exclusive investment — destined to rise in value — but also a testament to van der Kooij’s groundbreaking design approach, where innovation, craft, and sustainability meet. With its illuminating presence, the chair finds a natural place in any interior style, from minimal to eclectic. It quietly draws curiosity, balancing sculptural intrigue with comfort and an inviting sense of ease. Both a conversation piece and a pleasure to sit in, it bridges art and function seamlessly.
