This carefully selected lot brings together several different grape varieties, vintages, and winemaking styles, making it particularly appealing to collectors and enthusiasts of Austria’s greatest noble sweet wines. Weinlaubenhof Kracher, based in the Seewinkel region of Burgenland, is internationally recognised as one of the world’s leading producers of noble sweet wines. The estate’s Trockenbeerenauslese wines are produced from grapes affected by noble rot, which concentrates the fruit’s sugars, flavours, and natural acidity. Kracher traditionally produces its wines in two distinctive styles: “Zwischen den Seen”, generally focused on purity and freshness through maturation in stainless steel or larger vessels, and “Nouvelle Vague”, which is characterised by greater depth, spice, and texture through maturation in new barriques. The 2005 Kracher Nouvelle Vague Grande Cuvée TBA No. 7 is one of the most distinguished bottles in this collection. This noble sweet cuvée is composed of Chardonnay and Welschriesling, with the Chardonnay matured in new barriques and the Welschriesling in a new 1,000-litre barrel. The wine spent approximately 20 months ageing before release. It displays remarkable richness and concentration, with ripe yellow fruit, honey, dried fruit, subtle spice, and fine roasted notes, balanced by vibrant acidity and a long, persistent finish. The 2017 Kracher Zwischen den Seen Scheurebe TBA No. 1 offers a more fruit-driven and precise expression. Matured in stainless steel for approximately 18 months, it preserves the variety’s aromatic character and freshness. Scheurebe is particularly well suited to the production of noble sweet wines, offering intense aromas of exotic fruit, citrus, ripe stone fruit, and delicate floral notes. The 2017 bottling combines sweetness with freshness and an elegant, clean finish. The 2010 Kracher Nouvelle Vague Rosenmuskateller TBA No. 1 represents a rare and highly aromatic style of Austrian sweet wine. Rosenmuskateller is prized for its expressive floral and muscat-like character, often showing notes of rose petals, ripe berries, exotic fruit, and sweet spices. The Nouvelle Vague style adds further depth and texture, making this a particularly interesting bottle for collectors seeking something outside the more familiar Welschriesling and Chardonnay-based bottlings. The 2010 Kracher Zwischen den Seen Scheurebe TBA No. 10 offers a contrasting expression of the same grape variety. As a high-numbered TBA from the 2010 collection, it represents a richer and more concentrated style, with layers of ripe tropical fruit, citrus, honey, dried fruit, and pronounced noble sweetness. The freshness and acidity typical of Scheurebe help provide balance and length. The 2008 Weingut Nigl Grüner Veltliner TBA demonstrates the extraordinary potential of Grüner Veltliner in sweet-wine production. Although best known for its dry wines, Grüner Veltliner can produce remarkably complex noble sweet wines, combining ripe orchard fruit, citrus, honey, spice, and mineral freshness. This mature 2008 bottling offers a rare opportunity to experience the variety in an entirely different and highly collectible style. The 2008 Velich Seewinkel TBA completes the collection with a noble sweet wine from one of Austria’s most respected producers. Velich is particularly associated with elegant, terroir-driven wines from the Seewinkel, where the combination of warm conditions, lake influence, and autumn mists creates ideal circumstances for noble rot. This wine is expected to show impressive concentration, ripe fruit, honeyed complexity, and the balancing freshness that defines great Austrian TBA. The bottles have been carefully stored under professional cellar conditions to preserve their quality and provenance. Label, capsule, and fill level are in excellent condition, as shown in the photographs. Collector's note: This is a highly attractive collection for lovers of Austrian noble sweet wines. The combination of several mature vintages, rare grape varieties, and different producers makes the lot particularly interesting for comparative tasting and long-term collecting. The Kracher wines are especially desirable due to the estate’s international reputation and the limited production of its numbered Trockenbeerenauslese bottlings. As these are mature wines, natural signs of age on the labels, capsules, or bottles may be present and should be considered part of their collectible character. Shipping Information: Shipping is available within Europe only. Unfortunately, I do not ship outside Europe. All bottles are professionally packed using high-quality wine shipping materials to ensure maximum protection during transit. Shipments are sent primarily with DHL and are fully insured at no additional cost. In exceptional cases, another reputable courier may be used depending on the destination. Due to the current summer temperatures across Europe, shipment may be postponed for a few days if necessary to avoid exposing the wines to excessive heat during transport. This precaution is taken solely to ensure the bottles arrive in the best possible condition. Tracking information will be provided as soon as your parcel has been dispatched. An exceptional opportunity to acquire six mature Austrian noble sweet wines, including four sought-after Kracher TBA bottlings and rare selections from Weingut Nigl and Velich. This diverse collection combines outstanding producers, fascinating grape varieties, and highly regarded vintages, making it a compelling addition to any serious collection of Austrian sweet wines.
