Tintin – The Blue Lotus / De Blauwe Lotus – Korean 1st edition – 1978 – Wooil Munhwasa Very rare early Korean Tintin edition – The Blue Lotus (푸른 연꽃). A special copy of The Blue Lotus, published in South Korea by Wooil Munhwasa (우일문화사) as part of the series 「땡땡기자의 모험」 (The Adventures of Reporter Tintin), series 2. According to the colophon: Title: 푸른 연꽃 (The Blue Lotus / Le Lotus Bleu) Author: Hergé Publisher: Wooil Munhwasa Publication date: 15 July 1978 Print run: first edition (초판발행) Original price: 1,500 Korean won, a very high price for that time; very few were printed. The Wooil Munhwasa editions belong to the early Korean Tintin publications from the 1970s and are considerably harder to find than later Korean editions. The album is in good condition, small corner dents but the album appears unread otherwise. Rare! Photos are part of the description, will be shipped well packed.
