René Lalique "Moineau" Ring Holder – Art Deco, 1929 Elegance, light, and French heritage. This sumptuous molded-satin crystal ring holder, adorned with a delicate sparrow, is an emblematic creation by René Lalique, master glassmaker and goldsmith of Art Deco. Created around 1929, this model is referenced in the Marcilhac catalogue, a reference work devoted to Lalique’s oeuvre. At the center of a perfectly balanced circular tray stands a small bird, poised in a peaceful stance. Each feather, every curve bears witness to Lalique’s technical mastery and artistic sensibility, who knew how to transform crystal into visual poetry. With its clean, geometric style faithful to Art Deco codes, this ring holder is not a mere utilitarian object: it is a miniature work of art, an invitation to discreet luxury and contemplation.
