Lamp - Large pineapple table lamp – Hollywood Regency 1970 - Wood, Cotton

This is a highly decorative vintage table lamp in the shape of a pineapple, presumably from the 1960s–1970s. The combination of the gold-brown patinated pineapple base and the large pleated shade with piping and fringe gives it a distinctive Hollywood Regency / hotel-chic look. The pineapple is traditionally regarded as a symbol of hospitality. The lamp base appears to be made of cast composite, resin, or plaster-like material with a dark gold finish; the lampshade is fabric with trim and double fringe. In good condition with minimal signs of use. See photos for clarification. Length 85 cm Base width 18x18 cm Shade 40x40 cm Carefully packed and sent by registered mail.
