Alle Auktionen / Sonstige / Lamp - Stained glass - Dragonfly Tiffany-style
An extraordinary table lamp offered by Trio Leuchten from 1999 in the decorative Tiffany/Jugendstil revival with a particularly beautifully crafted dragonfly motif. The lamp features a elaborately assembled, multicolored glass shade. Glass elements with different textures in blue, violet, green, amber, and pale cream/white tones form an varied geometrical-floral pattern. Especially noticeable is the large, fully sculpted dragonfly on the front of the shade. Its perforated wings and the colored glass elements give the lamp a very characteristic decorative expression. The light beautifully highlights the different colors and structures of the glass elements. Even when off, the lamp is an attractive decorative object due to its unusual shade. The glass shade is carried by a darkly patinated metal construction and is swing/tilt adjustable within the side arm. This allows changing the direction of the light. The heavy, ornamented base continues the historicist design and provides a stable stand. A special advantage of this exemplar is the preserved original manufacturer mark on the underside. The nameplate reads: TRIO LEUCHTEN Artikel-Nr. 5069011-24 230 V / max. 60 W / E27 Datum 10.09.99 Thus, the lamp can be reliably dated to the year 1999. The lamp has been tested and is functional. A photo shows the lamp in the switched-on state. The overall height measures about 36 cm after measurement. The shade depth, i.e., projection, is approximately 18–19 cm. Due to the craft-like construction and the three-dimensional dragonfly decor, the lamp, despite its compact dimensions, has a strong decorative presence. This is expressly a Trio Leuchten lamp in Tiffany style, not a historical lamp from Tiffany Studios. There are typical signs of use, aging, and surface wear. In particular, there may be minor age-related marks or irregularities on the metal parts and at the shade joints. According to the photos, there are no noticeable major defects on the glass shade. The lamp has been tested for function and works. As this is a used electrical item from 1999, there is no statement regarding compliance with today's electrical standards. A check by a qualified person before long-term operation is advisable for older electrical devices. Please study all photos carefully. They show the actual item for sale and are part of the condition description. Shipping / Packaging Because the glass shade is delicate, the lamp will be packed with extra care and shock protection. Shipping will be carried out according to the shipping method chosen on Catawiki.
