A large and highly decorative porcelain vase in the Satsuma Moriage style, dating back to the second half of the 20th century. The vase features a classic and vibrant palette dominated by a rich cobalt blue glaze and extensive gilt decorations. The neck is flanked by two prominent, stylized dragon/chimera handles entirely finished in gold. The underside of the base shows an unglazed foot rim, factory serial numbers, and remnants of a red export stamp typical of mid-to-late 20th-century Japanese decorative wares. The vase comes complete with its custom-fitted, dark-stained wooden display stand featuring five elegantly carved legs.
