Ledu - Desk lamp - Metal

This is an iconic adjustable desk lamp with a pantograph arm, a classic of Scandinavian industrial design from the 1950s and 1960s. The label visible in the image corrects the previous identification: the lamp is a Ledu Type 2312, produced by the historic Swedish company Waso LEDU. Founded in Sweden, Waso LEDU was the leading Scandinavian rival of Luxo, making desk lamps and industrial design with a pantograph system and dimensions almost identical to the famous L-1 by Jacobsen. The gray aluminum die-cast clamp visible in the photo is the original Vise-style support for stable anchoring to desks and drawing boards. Complete with power cord and stand, functioning. As can be seen from the photos, it bears signs of age and use. The object will be packed with great care and shipped by tracked mail.
