Among high-end collectors worldwide, Naquetia barclayi has long been regarded as one of the ultimate “Holy Grails” of conchiology. For decades this species was known only from the world’s most exclusive museum collections. An architectural masterpiece from the depths of the Indo-Pacific The shell captivates with its extremely elegant, spindle-shaped silhouette and the characteristic, fan-like and finely folded varices (ruching) that wind along the body in perfect form.
