Alle Auktionen / Spielzeug & Sammlerobjekte / LEGO Merchandise - Art - "MARADONA – MOSAIC OF A LEGEND" Lego Art by MaskArt
Unique work – Edition 1 of 1 Hand-signed on the back by the artist - Authenticity seal present Authenticity seal presentThis unique work by MaskArt pays homage to Diego Armando Maradona, El Pibe de Oro, through an original and strongly contemporary composition. The portrait is created by assembling circular LEGO elements, skillfully arranged to form a recognizable and vibrant image, capable of fusing pixel art, pop culture, and mosaic art. The surface of the work is entirely sealed with epoxy resin, which adds depth, gloss, and extraordinary long-term protection. Some details are emphasized by dark, contrasting material interventions, used as graphic accents to increase the expressive power and dynamism of the face. The result is a powerful and iconic portrait, capturing the charismatic and immortal soul of Maradona, transforming it into a visually striking and collectible art object. The work is set in a frame that enhances its three-dimensionality and stage presence, making it ideal for private interiors as well as exhibition spaces. Technique and materials: Artistic assembly of circular elements, epoxy resin with contrasting material interventions Dimensions: Frame: 40 × 30 × 4 cm "The Legos are among the most sought-after products together with Pop Art and Street Art works by artists like Banksy, Murakami and Basquiat, and with exclusive pieces signed by Kaws. Great interest also comes from the sports world with icons like Maradona, Pelé, Ronaldo and Messi, while in luxury brands stand out Rolex, Louis Vuitton, Hermès and Supreme. Collectors increasingly appreciate the charm of vintage, the uniqueness of contemporary designs, limited editions, and art toys, which today represent a new frontier of art and luxury." The work will be carefully packaged and shipped within 3 days of the auction closing with a tracking code.
