Pair of doves - earthenware with crackled glaze, ivory tint, stamped "LEJAN" in relief on the base of the sculpture. LEJAN is a French sculptor and ceramist who was particularly active during the Art Deco period of the 1920s-1930s. LEJAN's crackled sculptures are iconic pieces of the Art Deco period, often produced by renowned manufacturers such as the Faïencerie d'Orchies or associated with designers of the era.
