The Leonard National Bank (Charter# 12382) does manage to record a respectable number of notes in the National Bank Note Census with approximately 25 non-institutional notes. Yet these notes are seldom traded in any context. Before a mid-grade T1 $5 also pedigreed to the Copeland holdings sold in our recent Summer 2026 Global Showcase Auction (Lot 21254) the last confirmed auction appearance for this desirable bank could be traced to August 2026 and before that to October 2012. Here a single comment relating to a "Spindle Hole" has been noted by PCGS Banknote, but to the collector who covets this charter, it stands to reason that this will be little more than a tertiary consideration at best.
