Leopoldo Metlicovitz - Cabiria – Gabriele D’Annunzio - 1970s

Extraordinary cinematic poster with a strong visual impact dedicated to the famous film “Cabiria”, a masterpiece of Italian silent cinema with text by Gabriele D’Annunzio. Note: This is a later edition from the 1970s. A highly powerful and theatrical image, dominated by vivid red and black tones, which recalls the epic scale and drama of the film: the female figure suspended among the flames, supported by emerging hands, creates a composition with strong symbolic and emotional charge, typical of the great Italian advertising graphics of the early twentieth century. !!!
