Antique Neo-Rococo letter holder made of cast metal – about 1900 Atmospheric and elegant antique letter holder/post stand, produced around the turn of the century (ca. 1890–1920) in Neo-Rococo style. This sturdy desk accessory is made of cast metal with a chrome-plated/nickel-plated finish and features a richly detailed openwork decoration consisting of graceful acanthus leaves, floral motifs, and rocailles. The stand has multiple compartments for elegant storage of letters, postcards, or documents. Thanks to the sturdy cast-iron/brass construction, the holder is very stable. A beautiful classic decorative object for an antique desk, mantel, or sidetable.
