Libyan Desert Glass Bracelet – 14 Large Polished Beads – 60 g – Natural Impact Glass Typology: Bracelet – Natural Libyan Desert Glass Beads Material: Authentic Libyan Desert Glass (LDG) Origin: Great Sand Sea, Libyan Desert, Western Egypt Geological Age: Approximately 29 million years Weight: 60 grams Number of Beads: 14 Bead Diameter: Approximately 17 mm (1.7 cm) each Condition: Excellent overall condition, with natural internal inclusions and variations characteristic of Libyan Desert Glass. Description Beautiful bracelet composed of 14 large, carefully polished beads of natural Libyan Desert Glass, with a total weight of 60 grams. The beads display an attractive pale champagne-yellow to creamy ivory coloration, with delicate variations in transparency and translucency. Each bead has been individually shaped and polished into a beautiful spherical form, revealing the fascinating internal textures of this extraordinary natural glass. Under close examination, the beads exhibit natural inclusions, subtle internal veils, delicate flow-like structures and occasional darker mineral traces, adding character and individuality to every piece. The large 17 mm beads give this bracelet an impressive appearance, while their soft golden-white tones create an elegant and refined aesthetic. An Extraordinary Glass Born from a Cosmic Event Libyan Desert Glass is one of the most fascinating natural glasses on Earth. It formed approximately 29 million years ago, when an extraordinary high-energy impact event generated extreme temperatures, melting silica-rich desert material and producing this remarkable natural glass. Unlike ordinary volcanic glass, Libyan Desert Glass is associated with an ancient extraterrestrial impact event, making it particularly attractive to meteorite enthusiasts, mineral collectors and lovers of unusual natural gemstones.
