Lido Bettarini (1927-2019) - Senza titolo

Lido Bettarini (Sesto Fiorentino, 1927 – Vallauris, 2019) “Landscape with Houses” Oil on canvas. Important large-format work by the Tuscan painter Lido Bettarini, characterized by one of the most recognizable subjects of his production: an evocative urban landscape composed of houses and small buildings with essential forms, immersed in a suspended atmosphere. The composition is built through a succession of buildings in the delicate tones of pink, blue, ochre, gray and white, interspersed with slender vertical trees that punctuate the scene. Work signed “Bettarini” at the bottom right. Additional signature “Bettarini” present on the back of the canvas. The work is accompanied by an authenticity document from Renzo Spagnoli Arte, Florence, kept with the painting. Dimensions of the work alone: about 120 × 90 cm. Overall dimensions with frame: about 144 × 114 cm. The work is presented in its large light decorative frame, which enhances the tonalities of the painting. The painting shows normal signs compatible with age and conservation. Please carefully observe all photographs, which are an integral part of the description and show both the front and back of the work, the signature and the authenticity document. Work from an Italian private collection. The presence of the signature on the front and back and of the related authenticity document represents an important documentary element accompanying the work.
