The composition features a group of stylized figures, suggesting a social or theatrical scene that feels both intimate and slightly surreal. The artist incorporates text into the artwork, with the title “EL ASUNTO DE LA INFAMANTE SIESTA PERDIDA (¡es espantoso!)” clearly inscribed within the image. The use of mixed media—combining ink and acrylic—creates a rich, layered aesthetic on paper, characteristic of Barbagelata’s evocative approach to storytelling through visual arts.
