Space Age Lounge Chair in the Pierre Paulin style – Rotating designer armchair in red – 1970s This striking Space Age lounge chair embodies the futuristic design language of the late 1960s and 1970s. With its organically shaped seat shell, integrated armrests, and the distinctive four-star swivel base, it recalls Pierre Paulin's iconic designs and the innovative design culture of that era. The sculptural silhouette feels cohesive and combines high seating comfort with an extraordinary visual presence. The bold red upholstery emphasizes the chair’s expressive character and makes it a focal point in both modern and vintage-oriented interiors. The chair is in very good vintage condition. The padding is well-maintained, retains its shape, and displays a pleasing colour effect. Age- and wear-related traces are present and are consistent with the piece’s age. The base shows typical signs of aging. The furniture has been carefully and material-safely refreshed and gently cleaned with appropriate care products. The original patina and authentic vintage character have been consciously preserved.
