Lucien Clergue (1934–2014) - Passion d'Avignon

Art photograph by the famous photographer Lucien Clergue from Arles. He also often photographed bullfights, but here he combines the image of a matador with a religious/Christian setting. Typical of his work from the early 1990s. What makes this photo special is that he did it in a non-digital way, which required enormous technical skill. The photo measures 50x40 cm and the image 44x29 cm. In perfect condition, only a few small traces of mounting tape on the back.
