He trained in Milan where, in 1945, he attended the Castello Art School. On this occasion he befriended many other artists of Lombard vedutismo of the 20th century, such as Fedeli, Consadori, Castellani, Moro, Labò, Barbieri and Novello. He took part in Milanese exhibitions at the Permanente and at Brera. A landscape painter, he is drawn to lagoon views and works in Burano and on the other islands.
