Manchester United - Premier League - 1999 - Football jersey

1998-1999 Manchester United 'Treble Winners' shirt Features 'Premiership Champions F.A. Cup Winners Champions League Winners 1998-99' embroidered around the club badge. Classic home shirt as worn when Manchester United made history by becoming the first English team to complete the treble. The league title was contested all the way until the final game of the season where only a win would be enough with only a point separating Man United and Arsenal. A 2-1 win over Spurs saw United crowned champions of England. The FA Cup saw United face Newcastle at Wembley where the Red Devils showed exactly why they were Premier League champions with a 2-0 win. Fours days later the treble was complete with a dramatic 2-1 win over Bayern Munich in Barcelona's Nou Camp stadium. Condition details: pristine colour, very smooth material, zip is broken (as is often the case with Man Utd shirts from this era), club badge, sponsor and embroidery are excellent. Size XL
