Alle Auktionen / Sonstige / Manifattura Italiana - Chair - Malacca
Pair of chairs, armchairs, lounge chairs or seats in Malacca, wicker, bulrush, Indian reed, bamboo and rattan. The Essence of the Italian Dolce Vita (60s/70s) They aren't just chairs: they are an invitation to slow down, to savor the light, and to transform every corner of the home into a terrace overlooking the Mediterranean. Handmade with artisanal skill, these two iconic basket-backed chairs ("Basket Chair") embody the refinement of Mid-Century design and the irresistible charm of Boho-Chic style. The soft lines and the natural weave of the rattan capture the light, gifting a warm, relaxed, and sophisticated atmosphere. Eclectic and Timeless: Perfect for framing a glass wall with a modern skyline, to complete an exclusive poolside patio, or to give soul and personality to a contemporary living room. Iconic Design: The allure of heatedly curved bamboo canes combined with the natural weave encapsulates the summer elegance of the 60s and 70s. Warmth & Three-Dimensionality: The organic silhouette provides visual lightness without sacrificing a presence of great visual impact. Genuine Made in Italy. Condition: The chairs are truly in good condition; of course they are vintage (vintage condition) but well kept, not new, with time marks, obviously. Dimensions: 77x58x57 cm Albini and Bonacina style.
