Vintage male display head / hat bust in Art Deco style. a characteristically hand-painted piece on a sturdy wooden and metal base. This type of bust was originally used in shop interiors for displaying hats, caps, or glasses. • Material: plaster / composite material, mounted on a wooden base with a metal spacer ring. Hand-painted details, including the moustache, eyebrows and facial contours. The head was mounted on a wooden base and metal ring (recently) and is removable. Probably originating from France and manufactured in the 1930s/1940s. There are damages at the bottom of the chin and ear, at the base of the neck. Dimensions without stand. 28 cm h x 15 cm w x 20 cm d. 2622 g total weight. The lot will be shipped insured.
