Vintage Orbiter Watch 17 Jewels Antimagnetic - in Wood and Gold-Toned Metal - WORKING - NO RESERVE Description: Splendid and unusual vintage Orbiter watch, 17 jewels, antimagnetic, characterized by a unique, striking design, ideal as a desk or table clock. MATERIALS AND DESIGN: - Case: Made from a single block of natural, grainy wood with a diagonal cut. - Bezel and details: Gold-toned metal with a knurled/fluted finish. MECHANICAL CONDITIONS AND IMPORTANT DETAILS: - Mechanical: The watch is functioning. When wound, the movement starts up normally. - Issue to report: During the last winding, the crown unfortunately broke off, remaining in the hand. The watch therefore requires replacement of the winding crown or the stem (a simple repair for a watchmaker or an restoration enthusiast). - Reserve price: Precisely because of this component needing replacement, the watch is offered at auction with NO RESERVE.
