The bas-relief (pedestal): The bronze-gilt frieze adorning the base illustrates a mythological scene linked to romantic tragedy or loss (evoking the myth of Adonis wounded or Narcissus), which reinforces the poetic theme of lovelorn sadness. Bronze gilt and polished on agate Rest on four spindles Very good condition, the clock is delivered with its original pendulum, its winding key.
