Alle Auktionen / Zeitgenössische Kunst / Mara. J XL - Chrysoprase Thicket
The vegetation occupies the entire surface, dense and intertwined, as seen up close on a morning of peak season. At the top the leaves take on a light green almost yellow, where the light comes direct; as you go down, the tone becomes deeper and more gathered, down to a dark background in which lilac and violet impressions emerge, delicate as a second bloom of color. Thin stems rise vertically and hold the composition together, giving breath to the dense weave. The material is built for overlaps and close imprints, which keep the surface alive and slightly grainy. The result is a sense of green continuing beyond the edges, silent and luminous. Signed and dated 2026 in the bottom right Image dimensions: 90 x 70 cm Overall canvas size: 100 x 80 cm The work is sold without a frame; it will be rolled and shipped in a cardboard tube. The certificate of authenticity is issued exclusively on request, in digital format. Mara J. explores the beauty and intensity of nature and the human body, creating works that tell emotions and states of mind through light and form. Her landscapes evoke fluid, suspended atmospheres, where color and luminosity shape space, while human figures, delicate and introspective, become a means of emotional expression. Each painting is an invitation to immerse oneself in a world of subtle sensations, where nature and the human being intertwine in a deep dialogue.
