In a deep blue background, with oil reflections, a flowering of golden leaves lights up, warm as honey in the glow of sunset. Up above the foliage is dense and bright, almost a golden weave that lets the blue show through between one leaf and another; below it thins and darkens, and the light-colored final leaves glow, suspended on the shadow. Thin violet stems rise from the bottom and bind the two worlds. The botanical imprints, layered and textured, give the surface a rich grain to touch with the eye.
