Saint-Étienne (label on the object) representing two stylized peacocks, each resting on a rectangular base of light-veined black marble. The birds display fine detailing, especially in the plumage, wings, and long tails, finely chiseled. The metal has an antique bronze patina, with pretty gold contrasts on the raised relief areas.
