Marius de Jongere/Drulman (1912-1977) - Drukte in de Maashaven

M de Jongere was born in Amsterdam, but lived and worked most of his life in Rotterdam (notably in Hillegersberg). He derived the name 'De Jongere' from his stepfather, the painter and etcher Marius Janssen. Only during World War II did he sign with his own surname 'Drulman' out of necessity, as using a pseudonym was prohibited at the time.
