We present to you the Marlen Moai Collection The Moai are an extremely fascinating people, to whom Marlen dedicates this limited edition collection. On the pens, some statues located on Easter Island are represented. In most cases they are monolithic statues, carved from a single block of volcanic tuff; some of them have on the head a cylindrical cap (pukao) made from another type of tuff in a reddish color, interpreted as a headdress or as the hairstyle then widespread. The Moai statues range from 2.5 meters to 10 meters in height (one measures 21 meters, albeit incomplete). The cap’s top is silver, with the Marlen logo engraved. A series of bronze rings and Italian resin in various colors make up the cap, which is characterized by a bronze band personalized with the collection’s name and a series of Moai statues. The bronze clip completes the cap. A wide silver band depicts the Moai statues from top to bottom (in bronze). The knob is in black Italian resin, concealing the piston filling.
