Marquetry Table de Chevet - Bijzonder model - Commode - Marble

A curved, veneered and inlaid Table de Chevet, suitable as an occasional table or nightstand, features floral-motif marquetry. Notable are the elegantly curved shapes and the stylish fittings. With its rounded forms and drawer arrangement, the design strongly resembles a small dresser. What makes this piece special is that it has a drop-leaf on one side and a drawer on the other, while the front suggests three drawers. The top is made in thick, colorful yellow breccia marble. We recommend you examine the photos carefully, so you can fully appreciate the condition and the remarkable variety of this beautiful object.
