Mart Signed - BICYCLE KICK (Carlo parola)

Building material (XPS Boards (Extruded Polystyrene Panels)): Gallery value: Original stencil works signed by Mart, not prints, are offered through European galleries with indicative price ranges between 3,000 and 4,000 euros, testifying to the positioning and collecting interest reached by the artist's work. Technique: Spray stencil and mixed media on materials recovered from the street, selected to preserve the identity and authenticity of street art language. Dimensions: The indicated dimensions refer to the exhibited exemplar and should be considered approximate due to the shape and irregular perimeter of the fragment. Certificate of authenticity: Included and signed by the artist. Some images show a simulation of the work displayed in a space and are only to give an idea of how it might appear. To evaluate the work, browse all the photos Broken Wall Broken Wall stems from Mart Signed’s research into the relationship between street art, matter, and urban memory. The project brings a fragment of the street language into homes, galleries, and private collections, transforming a surface marked by time into a contemporary artwork. The wall is not just the support for the image, but becomes an integral part of the work. Its surface, the breaks, the traces of time, and the natural characteristics of the material keep the link with the urban context from which street art originates. The fracture thus becomes an element of the artistic language: the boundary between the street and the exhibition space is broken, and the urban fragment finds a new placement. The work Each journey is marked by a final gesture. A single brushstroke transforms 22 into 33, turning a common number into a symbol. An essential gesture that goes beyond the image: sacrifice, creation, hope, and memory meet in a single final sign. The work does not impose an answer, but leaves every observer free to find their own interpretation. The stencil is created directly on the support: this is not a print or reproduction. The artwork depicted in the photographs is exactly what the collector will receive. Materials and authenticity Materials recovered from the street are chosen to maintain a living link with the original street art language. Marks, abrasions, surface variations, irregularities, and natural imperfections are not defects but elements that belong to the material’s history and the artwork’s identity. These characteristics are intentionally preserved and integrated into the creative process. The work is signed, accompanied by the artist-signed certificate of authenticity, and delivered ready to hang. The frame is not included unless otherwise indicated for the specific exemplar. Instagram and participation in the project The journey of the artwork can continue even after purchase. Collectors can share their work on Instagram by tagging @martsigned and using the hashtag #MartSigned. Works correctly tagged may be reshared by the artist through their channels, showing the different destinations reached by the works and creating a direct connection between artist, collector, and the public. Periodically, special initiatives, raffles, or small street-art-related gifts may also be organized through social networks. Participation is optional and independent of the purchase of the work. Any methods and conditions are communicated through the artist’s official channels. The artist Mart Signed is an Italian street artist with international activity. His works are part of private collections in numerous countries, and his artistic research develops around the concept “Where Are You Street Art?”: bringing the language and material of the street inside homes, galleries, private collections, and spaces traditionally distant from the urban context. Over the years, Mart Signed has developed his international presence through collaborations and relationships with various art-world entities. His research connects street art, urban memory, recovered materials, and space transformation. In 2023, Mart Signed also participated in a documentary devoted to Banksy and the street art culture. Shipping The work is shipped via specialized couriers managed by Mail Boxes Etc. Each piece is carefully packed, protected, and insured, with particular attention to the more delicate parts and the irregular shape of the support. Shipping includes full tracking from departure to delivery. If there is a high volume of shipments, preparation and delivery may require a few additional days. For any information related to shipping you can contact the artist directly via the platform. Edition and uniqueness Broken Wall comprises a limited series of 20 unique works. Each piece is made individually and no two pieces can be identical. The shape of the support, the fracture, the surface, the marks, the imperfections, and the material characteristics naturally vary from one work to another, making each piece unrepeatable. The 20 works share the same artistic project and the same core concept, but each maintains its own physical and visual identity. They are therefore not 20 copies or reproductions of the same work, but 20 unique and different pieces, all belonging to the Broken Wall series. Each work is identified by a specific code on the certificate of authenticity.
