Kaleidoscope 1 Description of the work: Born from the pulse between geometry and movement, Kaleidoscope is a piece of contemporary optical art conceived as a visual portal. Its mathematically precise lines converse in a high-contrast language, where luminous yellows, deep blues, and electric greens converge in a magnetic vortex that traps the gaze and completely redefines surface perception. The work transcends the two-dimensional canvas to unfold an architecture of illusion and infinite depth. Its play of geometric light and shadow creates the sensation of a living structure in constant expansion, offering an immersive experience that mutates with the surrounding light and the angle from which it is viewed. Designed to feature in modern environments and spaces with strong character, this piece brings a vibrant and sophisticated energy. It is an invitation to everyday wonder: a perfect balance between the firmness of technical drawing and the poetry of color in motion. Specifications of the work: In perfect condition Material: Acrylic on high-quality cotton canvas 335 g/m2 Dimensions: 100 cm x 75 cm (+ 4 cm free margin) Year: 2026 No frame Finish: Varnish for optimal protection Signed: Hand-signed on the back of the canvas Certificate of Authenticity: Included and hand-signed Delivery: Rolled canvas without frame Secure packaging in a strong tube with additional protection Features: Abstract Optical art Modern geometric style Possible slight variations in tones (due to monitor settings and ambient light) About the artist I am a visual artist with more than 25 years of artistic career during which I have explored diverse techniques and supports, including drawing, photography, animation, and video installation. For me, painting is more than a means of expression: it is a language of its own, a way to convey emotions, concepts, and perspectives through color and form. Each of my works is unique and unrepeatable, born from an intuitive and authentic artistic process. In my most recent work I am exploring a vibrant and very personal painting, where I blend imagined landscapes, still lifes, and everyday scenes with a geometric and colorful language. I am interested in playing with light, shapes, and perspectives to create images that move between the real and the symbolic. These works arise from the desire to build spaces that invite calm viewing, discovering details, and being carried by the energy of color. My work has participated in exhibitions, biennials, and international fairs such as the Havana Biennial, the Curitiba Biennial, the Mercosur Biennial, the Asunción Biennial, the Berlin Art Biennial, and fairs such as ARCO, among others. It is also part of public and private collections such as the Instituto Paranaense de Arte, the Havana Cultura Collection, and the Benetton Collection.
