Mastro Argentiere Italiano - Dessert service - 6 Coppette...

For lovers of high table art and elite collecting, we propose a superb and rare service of 6 individual cups dating back to the mid-twentieth century (the full modernist period). A masterpiece of chromatic and geometric contrasts that embodies the discreet luxury and sophisticated aesthetics of bourgeois dining tables of the last century. Each cup is made of heavy high-quality crystal. The surface is embellished with a rich geometric grinding that creates splendid plays of light and reflections. The upper profile is finished in solid silver with fineness 800, which adds a touch of sober brightness and guarantees value over time. The hexagonal pedestal is made of black glossy Bakelite (or contemporary resin). This material creates a sharp chromatic contrast and protects the tables from scratches or condensation. The service clearly draws inspiration from the aesthetic canon of the Art Deco style. The pronounced contrast between the deep black of the base and the transparency of the crystal, together with clean, crisp lines, evokes the modernist taste of the 1930s and 40s. A perfect example of modern kitchen ware and antique tableware capable of magnificently integrating into both classic and contemporary contexts.
